My Spirit Rejoices
My Spirit Rejoices: Rediscovering Mary and the Contemplative Path
is a book in progress about encountering Mary not as a distant figure surrounded by centuries of controversy, but as a living teacher of the spiritual life.
Through a contemplative reading of the Gospel stories, the book follows Mary as she questions, wonders, consents, rejoices, searches, suffers, and gradually awakens to the mystery of Christ within and beside her. Her journey reveals that prayer is not something we must manufacture and that God’s presence is not something we have to summon. Grace is already at work, quietly awakening us to the Christ who has always been nearer than we knew.
Written especially for those who long for a more intimate and spacious faith, My Spirit Rejoices invites Protestant readers to rediscover Mary, while inviting those who already cherish her to linger more deeply with her humanity. Mary does not draw attention away from Christ. She teaches us how to receive Christ, nurture his life within us, and bear his presence into the world.

Beyond Hell
What the Bible Actually Says About Death, Judgment, and the Love of God
is a book in progress for people who have been frightened, wounded, or confused by what they were taught about hell. It returns to Scripture’s own language for death, judgment, and the life to come, while tracing how later ideas about eternal punishment took shape in Christian imagination.
Rather than dismissing judgment or avoiding difficult questions, the book asks whether the good news of Jesus can truly be called good if fear has the final word. Through biblical study, history, and pastoral reflection, Beyond Hell invites readers to reconsider inherited assumptions and discover a vision of divine justice rooted not in cruelty, but in the relentless love of God.
